Privacy Policy
This policy explains what we collect through this website, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
Omax Immigration Inc. — licensed Canadian immigration consultancy in Surrey, Canada.
Draft — requires legal review before launch. This privacy policy template was drafted for the v1 build and must be reviewed by the client’s lawyer or RCIC before it is treated as final, particularly given the personal information the booking and inquiry flows touch. Tracked in API_KEYS_AND_CONTENT_NEEDED.md.
1. Who we are
Omax Immigration Inc. (“Omax Immigration”, “we”, “us”) is an immigration consultancy based in Surrey, British Columbia, Canada. For privacy questions, contact us at omaximm2023@outlook.com.
2. Information we collect
We collect the information you choose to give us: the name, email address, optional phone number, topic, and message you enter in the contact form, the details you provide when you book a consultation (scheduling details and the booking answers you supply), and, if you complete the initial assessment form, the profile details you enter there (identity, passport, education and work history, language results, and background answers). Assessment submissions are emailed to us and used to prepare for your consultation. If you start the assessment form but do not finish it, your unfinished answers (drafts) are kept only in your own browser on your own device — they are deleted when you submit the form, when you clear them, or automatically after 14 days, and they are never sent to Omax until you submit. Drafts never include any file you attached.
Files you upload. If you attach a document (for example a résumé) to the assessment form, it is sent directly from your browser to our email provider and emailed to Omax as an attachment. It does not pass through, or get stored on, our own servers. Please only send sensitive documents (such as a passport scan) when the assessment genuinely needs them, and consider redacting information that is not relevant to your assessment.
3. How we use it
We use your information to respond to your inquiry, schedule and prepare for your consultation, provide the services you request, keep records required for a regulated practice, and improve this website. We do not sell your personal information.
4. Service providers
Booking is handled through Cal.com and email delivery for this website runs through a transactional email provider. Those providers process data on our behalf so the website can function. Files you attach to the assessment form are transmitted from your browser directly to that email provider and delivered to our inbox; they are not stored on this website’s servers. Payment is made by manual transfer (Interac e-Transfer within Canada; international clients request wire/remittance details by email); we never ask for card numbers or banking passwords on this website.
5. Retention and security
We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law, and we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect it.
6. Your choices
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing omaximm2023@outlook.com. If your request concerns services we provided, we may need to retain certain records for regulatory reasons and will explain what applies.
7. Changes
We may update this policy as our practices change. The version published here is the current version.
